Live Well. Laugh Often. Love Much.

The Big 6.

Dear Sharleez Nadya,

You, my darling firstborn, are turning 6 on January 3rd!

OKAY PANIC MODE NOW ON.

(Just one more year left before you enter primary school, you know?)

First time you cried. First time you smiled. First time you giggled. First time you opened your eyes. First time you had your big poo. First day you crawled. First day you walked. First time you ran. First day of nursery school. First day of primary school. And the list goes on. You get the whole idea, don’t you? Mummies can never stop themselves from feeling so emotional about things like these, you see? Anything related to you or your sisters WILL BE A BIG DEAL to me.

But hey, do not worry. I am a very cool mummy.

LET’S CONTINUE TO BE SILLY TOGETHER! <3

You have specifically requested for a little Mermaid party by the pool on your birthday.

“Please order pizza because it’s my most favourite food, Mummy!”

Your wish is my command, Sharleez baby.
I love pizza too, so no problem there at all even though we just lunched at Pizza Hut a few days back. 😀

But why are you never sick of pizza, huh?

HAHA! I still cannot forget what you told Mama E the other day as you were lying down on her bed.

“Mama E, I am not too comfortable about eating the same food everyday.”

WHAT WAS THAT ALL ABOUT, SHARLEEZ NADYA?

TOO FUNNY, OKAY? YOU ARE SUCH A COMEDIAN AT TIMES.

Anyway.

Remember we went shopping for a mermaid’s outfit the other day? Even though it is going to be a simple affair for family members only, I want you to feel really special as the birthday girl. Birthday girls must always look extra good on their big day, right? They should not blend in with the crowd. But well, your Mummy here ended up buying two more similar outfits for your twin sisters because they too want to be mermaids on their big sister’s birthday. And you insisted on them dressing up as mermaids too.

“It’s a mermaid party what Mummy? Adik cannot dress up as Brave or anybody else, what!”

Makes complete sense actually.

Thank you for always thinking about your sisters’ interests.

You are such a wonderful daughter and a big sister, you know that.

And such is the dilemma when you have three daughters about the same age.

Buy 1, cannot. Buy 2, also cannot.

Buy 3, and everyone’s happy.

SEE! IT’S LIKE SEEING TRIPLE OF THE SAME THING EACH TIME I DRESS YOU LADIES UP.

Meanwhile, I cannot wait to surprise you with your birthday cakes. Hehehe. I had to order two different cakes for you; one for your home party, and the other for your school party with your friends. Thankfully, your birthday this year will fall on the second day of school, so there is still hope for a celebration in school. Imagine celebrating your birthday in school on the first day of the school term when everyone in class has yet to settle down? Imagine the chaos, Sharleez! He he.

Look, I know you have been bugging me to reveal the cake I have actually ordered for you.

BLUEKKKK! NO CAN DO!

IT’S A SURPRISE, MY BABY GIRL!

And yup, this blog post is especially for you Sharleez. I promised you that it will be ready for you to read today, right?

SEE? MUMMY NEVER BREAKS HER PROMISES! <3

You mean so much to me. I love you!

HAVE FUN BEING AN AWESOME GROWN UP 6 YEAR OLD! I AM SURE YOU WILL ROCK IT!

PS: DO NOT FORGET TO GIVE SHARLEEZ ALL THE LIKES IN THE WORLD! <3
