Live Well. Laugh Often. Love Much.

It’s positive!

Don’t you just wonder sometimes why am I just so positive about most things on most days?

And then it leads to the next question.

Am I real?

Before I answer, give me a turn to ask you now.

Would you rather be near a positively infectious person, or a contagious person with negative thoughts?

I would choose the former anytime, baybehhh.

Sadly, some people are just so entrenched in seeing the negative side of things till they leave absolutely zero room for all things positive to grow. They are just too toxic and impossible, simply put. And these same people usually inhabit our family, work environments and social circle of friends. Just being around them can be very emotional draining. Whatever opinions they voice out are more often than not, venomous. Gosh.

So what happens then since they are so full of negativity? Well, their negativity eats them, breeds dissatisfaction, and clutters their mind. They are constantly angry. They are forever not happy.

And here’s the reality. You just cannot escape from them either. LOL.

There is one thing you can do though…

LEARN HOW TO COPE WITH THEM.

Honestly, you cannot beat these people. They are called “impossible” for a reason. They are forever thinking that you are the source of all wrongdoings. No matter what you do or what you say will ever, EVER make them consider your side of the story. They will never be able to recognize their flaws because well, they supposedly do not have any flaws. Guess what? They are perfect! :S

WHAT’S NEXT?

AVOID THEM AS MUCH AS YOU CAN LOR.

CATCH YOU IF THEY CAN.

I mean, come on! The only good thing they can do to you is to motivate you to do better (and prove them wrong along the way). Other than that, they are just a bunch of naysayers. Naysayers habitually express negative or pessimistic views to almost everything in life. For instance, there is one big important event coming up. Now, these naysayers will always try to cast gloom despite you working so hard for it, and despite you having a strong and good feeling that things will go well. These naysayers will use any information about your personal life however small as a trump card against you. They can spin different versions of stories about you to other people (especially those close to the both of you) based on even the simplest comment you made over lunch.

“People who are negative are either lonely, broke, or lonely.”

NO CAN DO, DARLING.

Eventually, you will need to separate yourself from that impossibly negative person. Law of manifestation, perhaps? Yes, the truth is, maintaining a relationship with an impossible person is errr...impossible? Sometimes, it is pretty difficult to separate yourself physically from them. That’s alright because you can start by make a mental separation from them. Free your mind. And that is all.

Ok chope. Let’s reflect a bit.

You know, there are many different reasons for negativity, and this usually includes insecurity, low self-esteem, low self confidence, an abusive past and frustration in life.

Put yourself in a working environment, for instance. How many times have you heard of someone trash-talking you, just because you are performing really well at work?

You, on the other hand, often wonder why is it that you do not have the much needed support from your colleagues after a job well done. You poor little thing you.

Now, there is one thing these people do not understand, and that you need to constantly remind yourself about them. No matter how successful they think you already are, you will still not stop working like sleg dogs. They do not realize that nothing comes easy, and that behind every success are hours of PLAIN HARD WORK. But of course, good luck will come in handy too. So what do they do when they cannot keep up with you?

THEY NARRATE STORIES. THEY BECOME STORYTELLERS. THEY TALK. THEY TRY TO OVERTAKE YOU SECRETLY THROUGH DESPICABLE MEANS. THEY GET CAUGHT (WITH OR WITHOUT THEM REALIZING IT). THEY FAIL (MOST OF THE TIME).

And what do you continue doing?

YOU KEEP TRYING TO BE BETTER THAN YOU WERE THE DAY BEFORE.

“Negative people need drama like oxygen. Stay positive, it will take their breath away.”

And yes, I am real. Just not that negative.

Pinch me hard the next time you see me. <3

For now, LIKE this post if you too detest negativity, & I will blog again sooner than you think.

Deal?
