THE REVEAL.

EH WAIT, DID YOU GO TO THE CORRECT BLOG?

Oh yes, this is THE REVEAL.

Don’t worry, you are at the right blog. It’s still me!

And no, not pregnant.

NOT PREGNANT.

NOT PREGNANT.

Say, how are you liking my new blog?

I LOVE IT SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!

CONGRATULATE ME QUICK. SEND ME ROSES, CHOCOLATES, OR ANYTHING TIFFANY.

What if I tell you that the same person was responsible for my new blog layout and the pictures you see here? Who is he or she? How can he/she be this talented?! So unfair, right?

Relax. Don’t get so worked up.

KEEP CALM & READ ON.

I was staring at my blog the other night, looking for ideas for a particular blog post. Suddenly it struck me.

“What am I doing daydreaming nightdreaming? I need a new blog layout fast.”

I was in love with my previous blog design for the longest time because of the colour pink, and how it reflected the supposedly soothing nature of my blog. But at the same time, I was itching to tweak my layout and experiment with a different colour scheme for my blog post. A blog design is just like life. You need to keep progressing. You need to be fresh. You cannot be stuck in a rut. Sometimes we get too used to things till they finally become stagnant. -_-

I decided that my blog design should go for a fresh change and colour. What colour?

TIFFANY BLUE LAR OF COURSE!

And so I started planning. Before I could change my blog layout, I had to take new photos. I had to check my husband’s availability. I had to arrange for a studio session. I had to shop for clothes.

But most importantly, I had to find the perfect photographer.

I started checking out different photography companies but a particular photography company caught my attention immediately. For my new blog layout, I was actually looking for something different in terms of the pictures. I did not want to settle for the normal kind of pictures.

I am sorry to say this but I needed something more.

ZEE & MARINA PHOTOGRAPHY fits the bill perfectly!

Let me now introduce you to Zee & Marina’s photography niche, PORTRAIT IN PANO.

PORTRAIT IN PANO(RAMA) LOOKS LIKE THESE.

“In photography there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality.”

Actually, the photos do not even need a story or explanation to back them up. They speak for themselves, I believe. But at the same time, I think you would be interested to hear the story behind them, right?

Firstly, want to know the mastermind behind Portrait in Pano?

HE IS NONE OTHER THAN FAUZI ANUAR.

fa30

Fauzi Anuar specializes in on-location lifestyle portrait, be it indoors or outdoors.

According to Fauzi, Portrait in Pano is a collection of portraits (taken in sequence) to depict a story or timeline.

“It is definitely a pull away from conventional portraits, and shows modernism in current pictorials. It involves the use of image manipulation techniques.”

Let me tell you a bit more about Fauzi Anuar. Let me tell you how awesome he is.

- He is qualified master photographer as awarded by The Master Photographers Association UK.

- He is 2 Star Exhibitor as awarded by The Photographic Society of America

- He won a couple of Honorable Mentions at the 2012 International Photography Awards

- He was awarded a merit at the Master Photographers Association’s 2012 Diamond Jubilee Awards

- He was one of the top 8 finalists in The Big Shot Season 3

And what’s more, Fauzi Anuar is really good at web designing too! Hence, this blog layout for me.

WOW. SO I KILLED 2 BIRDS WITH ONE STONE, DIDN’T I?

Do you want to know how Fauzi Anuar actually started taking an interest in photography? It’s pretty cute actually, the story. When he told me, I was laughing quite hysterically.

So here goes. First things first, Fauzi did not have an interest in photography initially. No passion whatsoever even. So I would like to think that he has his wife to thank for where he is now. Had it not been for her who requested for a DSLR camera (out of so many gifts!) during their wedding anniversary, he would not have taken an interest in the camera till now. Now, you must be thinking that the wife must be a pro to have asked for a DSLR camera, right? I thought so too. Well, here’s the thing; she did not how to use the DSLR initially! Laugh now, it’s so funny! See la, asked for DSLR but don’t know how to use. Truth be told, she just could not be bothered to read the entire instruction manual. Tell me about it, I hate reading instruction manuals too! Like, what are they written in? German?

So like it or not, Fauzi had to learn how to use the DSLR in order to teach his beloved wife. The things you would do for love, right?

And that was how everything started, my friend. From a simple (or not so simple) experiment with the DSLR to his own photography company!

GIVE HIM A ROUND OF APPLAUSE PLEASE.

You must be curious to know how Isda looks like right?

NAH. PROMOTE HER A BIT SINCE SHE IS SO PRETTY. HELLO ISDA!!

Isda

CAN YOU NOW TEACH ME HOW TO USE THE DSLR, ISDA? SHARE & CARE. #LOL

I actually tried to do some research on Portrait in Pano but the search result showed Zee & Marina Photography only. Does that mean that only Fauzi is doing this in Singapore at present? I think so! Correct me if I am wrong, but hey, I am usually right. HAHAHAHAHAH.  I mean, have you seen any other photography companies doing this? Now, imagine having the Portrait in Pano in your living room for all your guests to admire and be in awe. Every guest of yours will be impressed! Forget new curtains, beautify your house with your own Portrait in Pano instead!

And hey, check out the CD case which Fauzi surprised us with! So impressive and outstanding, right? You can have yours personalized like this too! I’ll tell you more later. :)

fauzi19

I can tell that Fauzi is extremely particular about creating a good first impression, and this can be seen from our first meeting with him to the first studio session to the short time he took to produce the end product. I thought he did not take long to show us the edited pictures, considering the fact that he had a lot to do before we could get our very own PORTRAIT IN PANO. We were so impressed by his passion, efficiency and dedication. What am I saying? I am still impressed by his passion, efficiency, and dedication. Working with Fauzi was such a breeze and sooooooooo easy.

During the studio photo shoot, my girls were initially quite stiff and shy, if I were to be frank with you. And because they were pretty shy, the pictures taken initially did not exactly depict the real bubbly them. Fauzi was really patient and took the effort to get to know them better first. In fact, he was not even rushing to get everything done. He was like sitting down with my girls, playing with them, and kept creating conversations with them. Within minutes, he was already able to differentiate my twins! Big deal okay because until now, my dad is still not able to identify my twins correctly sometimes despite seeing them every single day.

Nadyas

So little kids, you will definitely adore Uncle Fauzi!

And parents, don’t get all worked up trying to get your kids to smile for the camera because Fauzi can handle that part pretty well, I am sure.

Now the pressure’s officially on you, Fauzi. HAHAHA.

Want to know something about Portrait in Pano? Fauzi will be the one telling you to come up with a certain pose. So, you don’t have to crack your brains while figuring out how to go about posing. In the case of our Portrait in Pano, I was asked to pretend to jot down whatever the girls were doing for an upcoming blog post. Tatek had to hold the camera and pretend he was photographing the girls for my blog post. The girls were told to play with toys and Lego; Sharleez was asked to pretend that she was chasing after Myreen. Myreen had to hold on to the toy plane and pretend that she was looking at Sharleez. And Mysha had to pretend that she was playing with a toy car, and observing the antics of Sharleez and Myreen while she was at it.

THESE ARE THE PANO PARTS.

Diah-1

 Pano Part 4

Pano Part 5

Pano Part 2

Pano Part 1

See how every part produces the Portrait in Pano when put together?

Pano width550px new

TELL ME PORTRAIT IN PANO IS NOTHING BUT AWESOME, QUICK!

Looks easy, doesn’t it? But trust me, it involves a lot of work!

Fauzi has an eye for what matters in a photograph. His post-production skills are exceptional. I think Fauzi really has the right spirit for the job. He did an amazing job of keeping my girls engaged and himself energized. He set us at ease and kept us laughing throughout the studio session. So I reckon the reason why Fauzi gets the best out of his subjects is because he brings his best to the job. That’s really important, I feel. I appreciate his energy and how he can attain the perfect shots without putting so much pressure on us, the kids especially.

And the end product? He managed to bring out the best in every daughter of mine. :)

Pano Part 6

Pano Part 7

Pano Part 8

Let me tell you something else. Fauzi actually had only three days to work on my blog design. Despite the short period of time he had, he was able to come up with whatever that I had in mind. Gosh. I cannot reiterate enough how super efficient this guy is. And let’s not mention the fact that he is very good at web designing. Wait a minute, I think I already mentioned it earlier. Web designing can be deceptively difficult, and it’s not just a matter of coming up with a beautiful design. Contrary to popular belief, how your blog looks has little to do with the blog design. It’s not about being fancy actually. It’s about having a cohesive blog design. I believe Fauzi has successfully created one for me!

AND JUST IN CASE YOU MISSED WHAT I TYPED EARLIER, LET ME SAY IT AGAIN.

I AM SO IN LOVE WITH MY NEW BLOG DESIGN!

Such a privilege to have had the chance to work with Fauzi Anuar from Zee & Marina Photography.

And guess what, he is now a friend of ours. The kind that I can joke around with without feeling awkward or anything like that, just like the rest of them who I have worked with before.

photo-224

He is such an easygoing person, really. No airs at all. So I did not put on airs too. LOL. That’s the thing about me. Once you get to know me and once you are in my good books, working with me will be soooooo easy and fun plus stress free!

RIGHT OR NOT FAUZI?!! :D

So okay, since Hari Raya is just around the corner, why not book a studio session with Fauzi Anuar from Zee & Marina Photography, and have your very own Portrait in Pano?

Nurul Nabila & Studiofrost

Hari raya is around the corner, and I should seriously spank myself for not blogging about this earlier.

Grrrr.

So anyway, it’s always better late than never. And it’s now or never.

You get what I mean.

If Studiofrost used SARAH AQILAH for our Hari Raya Edition last year, this year we decided to go with someone who we really adore. Someone who is really a sweetheart and very easy to work with. Someone we have worked with for a photoshoot with Manja. Someone we have already used as our model for Studiofrost even before she became a TV personality/actress. Someone who is still a darling despite the number of fans she has now.

It’s Nurul Nabila!

Yes, she is that girl from Cinta Ixora.

Yup, she was Hakim’s love interest in Anak Metropolitan 3.

Thank you to Nabila for modeling some of the Hari Raya collection by Studiofrost. As usual, we had so much fun working with her. I had an awesome time doing her makeup and hair! Even though she had to model quite a number of outfits, she posed ever so gracefully like a swan, and she was able to give us what we wanted for the photoshoot. Fuss free!

I think she rocked all our outfits! Don’t you think so too? :)

Hehehe, in fact, Nurul Nabila also appeared in BeritaonSuria the other day, together with ehem ehem.. US!

Thank you BeritaonSuria and Nur Isyana Isaman for the interview! Oh yes, we were in the news on Suria channel for two days straight! Big deal, okay? :D

To view Part 1 of the interview, click HERE.

To view Part II of the interview, click HERE.

And to all Nurul Nabila’s fans, she has something to tell youuuuuuuuu.

Selamat Hari Raya to all supporters of Studiofrost.

Oh yes, there’s still time for you to shop at www.studiofrost.net because we are still accepting orders till 16 August 2012, Thursday.

However, do take note that it is strictly self collection in Pasir Ris from today onwards.

Hope to see you at Studiofrost! <3

Have a blessed Ramadhan!

Thank you! #SFF2012

On June 2 2012, it was finally Studiofrost Fashion Festival 2012!

I know right? :D

Studiofrost Fashion Festival means so much to me, Nurul, and the entire Studiofrost family. It is something that will always remind us of how we all started from scratch, from day 1, from nothing. And look where we are today. Alhamdullilah, I can never thank Allah and all my family members for making it possible for me, Nurul, and Studiofrost.

Prior to the event itself, Nurul and I spent so many days and nights preparing for it. We wanted it to be bigger than ever, and therefore, we needed more stocks than ever too. More stocks is equivalent to more stocktaking, more tagging and more work. Never once did we both complain or whine because we were so confident Studiofrost Fashion Festival 2012 would be a success. We knew our efforts would somehow pay off at the end of the day because we have worked so hard. We just had that feeling. So yes, while our two helpers attended to our kids in the other room, Nurul and I did our work in the studio room. Truthfully, I felt so guilty for being so busy preparing for the festival because Ikknew I was not spending enough time with my girls.

In fact, Sharleez even went to me to ask,

“Mummy, when will you havektime to play with us?”

:(

I apologized to her and the twins of course, and told them them once the event was over, I would spend time with them and make up for everything. And yes, I did.

So on the day /f Studiofrost Fashion Festival 2012, everyone was up so early because we had to transport the goods from the warehouse and Nurul’s house to the venue itself, Aranda Country Club. Mind you, I am talking about almost 30 big red bags of stocks, clothes racks, mannequins, and more.

Even much more than what you see here.

So Daddy, Ian, Tatek, Nurul, and myself did all the loading and unloading. And then, once we were there, we delegated th% tasks. Thank god Nurul and I  already decided the day before who would be doing what. I was in charge of the decor! I could not be happier, really. Hahahaha!

The event was supposed to start at 2 pm but I saw so many of our customers already waiting to enter as early as 1.30 pm! Wow! Hehehe.

So the moment it was time, the crowd just went crazy.

How crazy?

THIS CRAZY.

I barely had space to walk; I had to squeeze! Can you now imagine how Nurul managed to walk through the crowd despite her very big tummy? I suspect she used her tummy to push everyone aside. Hahah.

Look at the queue!

Just look at it!

We panicked actually when we saw the queue. I remember constantly telling our cashiers Ian and Ili to hurry. Hahaha I am not saying they were slow or anything because the truth is, they were super duper efficient. Sharleez helped out too! She was in charge of putting the purchased items nicely into the paperbag before giving them to the customers and saying,

“THANK YOU FOR SHOPPING WITH STUDIOFROST.”

How cute! <3 Thank you Sharleez for that!

(I would love to be the cashier for the next Studiofrost Fashion Festival.)

You know, the crowd remained that big and insane till about 7.30 pm before it finally started to grow sparse.

I finally had space to walk!

And only when it started to grow sparse did we finally have a proper break and meal!

Thank you, thank you everyone for making Studiofrost Fashion Festival 2012 a super HUGE success! We thought it would be a success, but we did not think it would be that huge, really.

I got to must thank quite a number of people here because seriously, without them, we could not have possibly managed.

Mak & Daddy, as usual, for always being our pillars of support in anything and everything we do. Without them, we will be lost for directions because we constantly need their guidance and blessings. You have no idea how much Studiofrost depends on them both! Daddy, thank you also for taking charge of the photography because we hardly had time to even pose for the camera! So thank you so very much.

Ili, for making time for Studiofrost on that day. Hahaha! But hey, she sold quite a number of her preloved clothes for so cheap! As cheap as $2 okay for her H&M dresses and all! She was like, “Better to sell in quantity than to not sell nothing at all.” That’s Ili for you, the ever so generous one.

Tatek & Ian, for helping us out with everything. Tatek, you did really good with the stocks. All we needed to do was to tell you what the customers wanted, and you were ready with the stocks within seconds! Ian, you were a very excellent cashier! We did not have any shortage of cash, thanks to you.

Okay actually I helped you too, Tatek! So did Nurul and Estee! Hahaha!

Special thanks to Sabariyah (@icemuncher) for taking the day off from work and assisting us from the start till the end of the event. I really did not expect that! I am really fortunate to have a friend as sincere, kind and helpful as her. May Allah always bless this beautiful friend of mine for all that she has done for me, my family and Studiofrost!

My Nadyas and Shan Ehan for behaving their best and for being quite independent on that day!

PHEW!

Thank you to Aton and Estee too for helping us manage the kids. What would we do without helpers?

(Sometimes Most of the time, I wonder why Shan’s hair is this brown.)

Thank you Nadyas especially for being so accommodating to your ever so busy mother, and for entertaining yourselves during the days when I was exceptionally busy with Studiofrost.

I hope you will figure it out one fine day that I am working so hard for your future, and nothing else. I would love to just shake my legs at home doing nothing, but doing nothing is something that I am not good at.

And of course,

BIGGEST THANK YOU TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS NEW OR OLD, AND FRIENDS FROM TWITTER & FB FOR SUPPORTING STUDIOFROST FASHION FESTIVAL 2012!

We still have so many of our customers who came for Studiofrost Fashion Festival 2012 coming back for more at www.studiofrost.net simply because they were super pleased with their purchases! It’s nice to see so many new customers too! Like really so many.

And oh, to those who tasted the Hari Raya goodies during Studiofrost Fashion Festival 2012 and are intending to order them for Hari Raya, worry not! I will be blogging about them really soon so that you can place your orders soon too!

AKAN DATANG! HARI RAYA GOODIES BY STUDIOFROST.

Gosh! I am just super excited for Studiofrost because we have so much to offer you still in the days, weeks, months and time to come! Nurul and I are only getting better, all thanks to the experiences (and nice clothes) we have had so far with Studiofrost.

“In the business world, everyone is paid in two coins: cash and experience. Take the experience first; the cash will come later.”

Born to shop!

……..

I should have blogged about Studiofrost Fashion Festival 2012 like weeks before but somehow, it slipped my mind until Daddy whatsapped me yeste2day to remind me. No wait, it did not slip my mind. I have just been so busy with so many things lately like #projectfunhouse, Tea Parties, Makeup Classes, and of course…

PREPARATION FOR STUDIOFROST FASHION FESTIVAL 2012!

We are still not done yet, though. More stocks are expected to arrive by air within the next few days.

Therefore, I can always count on my dad to remind me of the important things to do whenever I get too busy to even remember.

HAVE YOU HEARD? HAVE YOU READ? HAVE YOU NOTICED?

Studiofrost Fashion Festival will be taking place on June 2 2012, Saturday!

Time: 2 pm to 9.30 pm

Venue: Level 2, Tulip Boardroom, Aranda Country Club Pasir Ris.

Where exactly is Aranda Country Club?

It is:

  • Right opposite Pasir Ris Sports and Recreation Centre
  • Right next to Asli Village Downtown East
  • 5 minutes walk from Pasir Ris Interchange/MRT

Can you already figure out where it is?

And because it is not every time or year we have an event as big and prestigious as this, we want to see all of you there, especially our loyal customers! To those of you who have yet to purchase anything from Studiofrost this far, I challenge you to drop by and see for yourselves what you have been missing out on all along. You know, there should be at least a reason why Studiofrost is still standing strong after all these years. Alhamdullilah.

The response we had previously was more than overwhelming. We had so many customers dropping by, and the queues at the cashier were super duper long. But do not worry, with cashiers as good as my husband Tatek and my brother Ian, you barely need to wait that long before your turn comes! Yes, I am super confident because these two guys are just so efficient and fast. It’s just too bad that my brother Shafiq will not be around during Studiofrost Fashion Festival because he is still busy serving the nation. He would have made an awesome cashier too, what with his smiling face and friendly nature. But oh well.

The salesgirls attending to you on the day itself will be none other than…

ME, NURUL, AND ILI!

I really cannot wait to serve all of you personally. That’s like the only day and time that we get to do this. We will all be in heels, so do pardon us if we take a bit longer to walk to you. The previous festivals, I did trip several times. But that will not stop me from wearing heels. Hahaha.

You know how we really do not like doing the same ol’ thing over and over again? Well, Studiofrost Fashion Festival 2012 will be better than the festivals before because of the following:

  • Exclusive Designer Clearance Sales for existing stocks

Of course we will be selling all our existing stocks at prices so cheap. Trust me, the prices offered will be way cheaper than all the sales we have had before at www.studiofrost.net! Just to mention a few,

  • Our maxi cardigans will be selling at only $25 instead of $49.
  • Kaftans will be going at $49 instead of the usual $75!
  • Maxi dresses will be $12 instead of $38 to $55

That’s how really special Studiofrost Fashion Festival is.

Do take note that we will only accept CASH on that day.

However, there are ATM machines at Downtown East.My advice? Just bring lots of cash! Hahahahahah!

  • Launch of our New Arrivals!

Here are just some of our new arrivals which we will launch during Studiofrost Fashion Festival 2012 at special introductory prices! Tell me if you can still stay composed after looking at SOME the new arrivals?

  • Launch of Mummy & Daughter Kaftans

I know so many of you have been waiting for this! Well, the kid kaftans can fit 2 to 6 years old girls easily. Sharleez is 5 while Mysha and Myreen are 3 turning 4. Can you see how the kaftans fit them all nicely? These kaftans are very practical for Hari Raya because material used is cooling. And I cannot stop patting myself hard on the back for coming up with the leggings idea.I was really just thinking of my girls at that point of time and how comfortable they would be in these kaftans. The kid kaftans will be available in four different colours. What’s the other colour, you ask? Hahaha you have to drop by and find out yourself!
  • Tasting session for Hari Raya goodies & cakes by Studiofrost

Hehehe. See these yummylicious goodies and cakes?
Well, for Hari Raya this year, Studiofrost will be selling them! But to be fair, we will let you taste them during Studiofrost Fashion Festival itself before you can decide and place your orders. So if guests were to come over to your place for Hari Raya this year, you can tell them that your outfit AND HARI RAYA GOODIES are from Studiofrost! Oh, how lovely.

Some of the goodies & cakes that we will be providing tasting for will be:

  • Makmur
  • Bangkit Santan

  • Cornflakes Madu
  • Almond London
  • Kek Kukus
  • Lapis Prune
  • Lapis Asam Manis

So do have a taste, and if you like what you taste, place your orders! :)

  • Launch of bustier/corsets for Hari Raya

What’s a Hari Ra9a outfit without a corset/bustier, right? We need to hide them fats in order to look good in our kebaya, kaftans, or whathaveyous. Therefore, we have decided to bring in bustiers/corsets in four colours. What are the four colours? Well, you need to come down for Studiofrost Fashion Festival and find out yourself! Enjoy them at a special introductory price too!

Do not forget to quote your card number when doing so! :)

  • Launch of Puff Sleeve Cardigans

Remembe2 me wearing the Puff Sleeve Cardigan in black, and Nurul wearing the same one in green for JUS? My god, so many people have been asking for them ever since! Some even mentioned the first thing they will do the moment they reach Aranda Country Club is to grab the Puff Sleeve Cardigan! But I totally understand why. The Puff Sleeve Cardigan gives your arms the slimming effect, you know? And it just has that classy look.

  • Preloved Sale for Shan Ehan’s and Nadyas’s clothers/accessories

You know, what will Studiofrost be without all of your support? Sometimes we get too carried away with the convenience of online shopping that we forget to pause and show our appreciation towards all of you, our most loyal customers. So in more ways than one, Studiofrost Fashion Festival will be a good bonding session for you and us. We not only want you to come for the sake of shopping; we want you to come and say hello to us! Or better still, we will go to you and say a BIG F A T HELLO to you! How’s that? Click HERE for more details!

The entire Studiofrost family will be looking forward to Studiofrost Fashion Festival 2012!

So we’ll see you at Aranda Country Club on June 2 2012 from 2 pm to 9.30 pm?

Give me a BIG F A T promise please?

For Harper’s Bazaar JR

Nothing could make you more proud than seeing your child having fun in front of the camera, and even better, seeing them on TV or in your favourite magazine. For Sharleez especially, modelling is nothing new to her because she has been doing it ever since she was a toddler. So yeah, I think it is okay for me to say that she is a natural in front of the camera. And most importantly, she is always able to deliver what the photographer or stylist wants in terms of the looks and poses. Of course, she still has a lot more to learn along the way so we will just go with the flow, okay? :)

The more recent assignment which she did was for Sentosa Flowers Campaign which you can read more about HERE.

And just a few days back, she did a fashion spread for Harper’s Bazaar Junior magazine. It was yet another learning experience for her as a child model.  I had prepared her for the photoshoot days before by talking to her about it and telling her what was expected of her. I also told her that there would be a makeup artist there who would doll her up and make her look like a princess. Sharleez was very excited about the photoshoot as a result. But that one question which she asked me still tickles me until now.

“But Mummy, why can’t you doll me up? You are a makeup artist too. “

Hehe. I think she expects me to be EVERYONE’S makeup artist! That’s not the case, dear Sharleez. You need to understand that there are so many other makeup artists around too besides your Mummy!

hp-13

hp-12

So what did Mysha and Myreen do while their big sister was busy with her photoshoot?

hp-3

Don’t ask me what they were doing! But it sure was hilarious to see them lying around like that. But then I realized the other kids were lying around too. Kids nowadays! :D

Then, they got bored of lying around and realized that they too could pose just as well as their Kakak Sharleez. So they decided to work it…with my camera!

Very nice, M&Ms! Keep on believing in yourselves! :)

As for big sister Sharleez, what else can I say?

Thank you to the very beautiful Adlina Aziz the stylist, for having faith in Sharleez, and for ensuring we were all comfortable throughout the photoshoot. We truly appreciate it! The photoshoot was from 9.30 am to 5 pm at The Playhouse but we were allowed to come anytime and just clock in a maximum of 3 hours. Lunch was also provided for all of us at Seb’s Bistro, so we did not have to worry about anything at all basically besides the twins’ naptime.

Thankfully, twins were too excited about everything to even think about sleeping! How to sleep when they were inside the Playhouse itself? Hehehe. You should try bringing your kids HERE for change of air. What I really like about the Playhouse is how it promotes the different types of play:

  • Quiet. These activities are usually conducted in one place, such as looking at books or working with the blocks. Children do not need great amounts of energy for quiet play.
  • Creative. These activities allow a child to engage his/her imagination through dancing, and much more.
  • Active. These activities require a good amount of energy and often help children develop their gross and fine motor skills. Playing with coloured balls and the slide there are some examples.
  • Cooperative. These activities involve more than one child. When children play with others and share their toys or take turns in an activity, that’s cooperative play.
  • Dramatic/Role playing. Like creative play, children engage their imaginations during dramatic play or role playing and often take on the persona of a different character. Some dramatic play may take place with other children like cooking, playing dress up with the costumes there.

For mummies with small kids, they even have a private nursing and baby changing room, and a toilet fitted for children too.

You can find out more about The Playhouse HERE.

Even though it was work for Sharleez, we had fun as a family. I am just so glad that Tatek was around for the photoshoot too. I think fathers should be just as involved and not leave it entirely to us mothers to handle everything. True? So thank god for a husband like Tatek! :D
